Enter the Online Dating Service Age to Get a Girlfriend - In my previous post, I have also briefly talked about how you should busy yourself so as to forget your ex-girlfriend as well as to spend more time with other people such as your friends and family. Of course, you should not forget about making new friends (expecially girls who can later become your girlfriends) and I have briefly touched on the use of the internet these days to get a girlfriend.

How can one use the internet to learn how to get a girlfriend, you might ask? First of all, if you are reading this "How to Get a Girlfriend" blog now, this means that you are using the internet to increase your knowledge on how to get a girlfriend! The internet is also the tool which I use to communicate with those who are in need of help to find or get a girlfriend. Of course, this is not the focus of this post of mine.

With the advent of the internet, a new industry of online dating services was then sprung. It is the information age now, people halfway across the world are able to communicate with somebody else on this side of the world. They use instant messaging or emails, mails that do not need the use of stamps or envelopes. Then there are people who talk to each other over the internet, with the use of webcams too, so that they can see each other while they speak into microphones. Some online dating services make use of these high tech equipment, but then since most of the online dating services focus on getting you a girlfriend or boyfriend in the nearby vicinity or locality, this is less prevalent. Though it will not stop people from making new boyfriends or girlfriends several thousand miles away! These are called long distance relationships, and with globalisation (that means the world is getting smaller and more people travel frequently across the globe and work at more than one place), long distance relationships are becoming more and more popular.

This post is not about long distance relationships though, but I may be writing about that in the future. Long distance relationships are tough but not impossible, and it really requires a lot of patience, endurance, trust and committment. Anyway, this post is about how you can get a girlfriend using online dating services. Online dating services are online websites that a person can go to to register. Most of these online dating services are FREE. Once you register and create a profile, you can set some parameters and search through the other profiles to find some people which you may be interested in. I will detail a step by step run through on how you can get a girlfriend using online dating services subsequently in this post.

Anyway, online dating services are free but sometimes you may be restricted to certain features within the online dating service. For example, some online dating services may restrict the number of times you may communicate or email with a prospect. After a certain number or emails, you are unable to correspond with the person anymore. These dating services are mainly meant for singles who are looking for a girlfriend or boyfriend, but you can really be surprised what kind of people actually lurk in these online dating sites and what motives they are actually up to! So before you actually venture into such online dating services, let me warn you of some of the dangers. Do not give out any of your personal particulars to anyone online! You do not know who to trust and everybody online should be treated as strangers. Only agree to meet somebody you know from an online dating website after you have corresponded with him or her for a sufficient amount of time, say for a few months (preferably the longer the better, I would recommend a period of 6 months). If you are unsure, or if you are still quite young, I would recommend that you do not meet anybody online (even if you want to tell your parents they may not agree too).

Right now online dating services offer everybody a good way to make and meet new friends or find a potential partner, hence why I say you can use a dating service to get a girlfriend. Using such services is quick and easy, especially if you are tech savvy. All you need is a computer, an Internet connection, an email address and a photo (a photo is optional because you do not need people to know how you look like to make friends with you but a profile without a photo is usually not very popular).

Once you have in your hands these simple requirements, you would be able to register for a profile at a simple online dating service. You are right on your way to get a girlfriend using an online dating service and to find that perfect match!

Step 1: Selecting the right Online Dating Agency

How do you get a girlfriend if you do not even have an online dating service in mind? So first of all, it is important that you find an online dating service or agency that you think would best serve your needs. Some of the questions you might want to ask yourself are if you are looking for a free online dating service or a paid one? If this is the first online dating agency that you are signing up for, I would suggest that you register for a free one first. Then you have to think about which kind of girls or friends you are interested to get to know. Are they living in the same area as you? Some online dating websites are more for those looking for girlfriends or just friends in the nearby vicinity. Are you looking for a girlfriend who shares the same religion as you? Some online dating agencies only accept membership for certain groups or races, hence people who have certain requirements for their girlfriends can go to such online dating sites. With the large number of online dating agencies available on the internet, I am sure that you would be able to find out that you like. As I have already mentioned, it would be best that you register for a free online dating service first before going for something that requires money. Step 2: Registering for an account or profile

Once you have found an online dating service that you are interested to sign up for, please go ahead to register an account under the online dating service and to create a profile. If you signing up for a service that requries payment, this is usually when you have to pay before the profile can be created. It is relatively easy to set up an account. The online dating service would usually ask for your personal information such as your name, email, or maybe your physical address etc. I would suggest that you use a pseudonym. Best not to use your real name. Even if the physical address is required, do not use your real address. As for the email address, you can register for a free email address under one of many internet service providers, such as gmail, yahoo mail or hotmail/msn live emails. If they ask for a photo, like I already mentioned, it is up to you whether you would want to put a photo but profiles with photos attract more viewership. Having a photo also shows that you are sincere in making friends. When you have created a profile, the online dating service would usually ask you to provide a username and password. For this, you can be creative and come up with something weird or plain.

Step 3: Filling Up Your Profile

Now that you have got an account and a profile set up, it is time for you to complete your profile by providing additional information about yourself such as your likes, dislikes, interests, hobbies etc. These details are to allow other people to browse and see if there are any common interest and hobbies. If they see something that they like, they can then proceed to the next step which is to contact you. For these information and questions, it is best that you be as honest and truthful as possible. No harm revealing what you like or dislike or your hobbies here (unless they are creepy stuff! but maybe you will attract the right crowd). For some online dating agencies, they may also ask you to fill up details about the type of person you want to meet or are looking for online. This will allow the online dating agency to do some matching and bring the right people together. You are now one step closer to getting that hot girlfriend!

Step 4: Start Making New Friends!

Browse through the profiles to look for individuals who share the same interests or hobbies as you. Basically, anybody whom you find attractive or compatible can be considered a potential girlfriend! When you have chosen one or a few potential individuals, start communicating with by sending emails through the online dating service. Now just spend some time exploring the online dating agency and get to know as many people as you can handle (making sure that you are able to pay attention to all of them without forgeting their details when corresponding with them). This is done repeatedly until you can really find some people that you can click with and probably have the "feel" for. Once you know some of these people for a good length of time, you can ask them out for a date (that is if they are not staying half a globe away). Do not lose hope if you find it difficult to find someone who matches your requirements. Do know that looks is not everything, you might want to rethink your requirements if most of the candidates online do not meet them! Then again, be prepared for fake accounts, where people might not fill in real information and might be using fake photos.

How to Get Over a Girlfriend

The Best Tips to Get Over a Girlfriend and Get Over that Heartbreak - In my previous post, I have talked about 6 main things or characteristics that you should aim for when you want to get a girl to be your girlfriend. The points look easy, but most of the time, the easiest things are the hardest to carry out. Do not despair, I believe that if you genuninely want to make a difference and your heart is telling you something that you do not wish to ignore, then go forth, listen to my advice and take small baby steps. Bit by bit, I can assure you that you will reach the end goal and get that girlfriend!

Today, I have decided to do a post on how to get over a girlfriend instead of the usual how to get a girlfriend. I believe that if you are here because you are heartbroken that you broke up with your girlfriend, it would only mean that that relationship with your girlfriend (now ex-girlfriend) really meant something to you. If not, I do not think you will be here online, trying to find out how to lessen the pain of a breakup. First of all, please cheer up! It is not the end of the world! This post is mainly for those who feel that it is impossible to mend back the relationship and cant patch up.

I believe that if guys have a hard time getting over their ex-girlfriend, that can only mean that you are a sensitive (new age) guy or what some people term metrosexual. Perhaps you have already cried your heart out, and to me that is a good thing! If crying can make you better, please do. Do not keep the bad things inside yourself. Let everything come out. Cry, bang tables, go to an arcade and kill some zombies, shoot some terrorists on the computer and whatever it is just do what you need to do to let yourself all out. Yes, doesn't it feel good that way? Just get absorbed into something that will keep your mind away from the breakup, this way, it will over you to get over your girlfriend faster. Oh and another thing, just to avoid listening to love songs, and avoid going out or going to places where there are more than the average number of couples. You might feel bad seeing other couples holding hands outside! Not to forget cinemas, avoid them! One of the favourite pastimes of couples is catching that good old Hollywood flick. Oh and remember to spend more time with your family now or your friends. Concentrate on building up your relationship with other people now in place of your girlfriend.

The thing about breaking up is that some people will feel so hurt. But have you thought about it in another sense, that is you have gained something in the end? What have you gained, you might ask. To me, to have been in a relationship is a big blessing. It is a past experience that you have been through, something to remember, something to cherish. Yes, I know it is difficult to think this way, but if you really love her, you would want her to be happy right? You would want her to find the best man, and if that man is not you, it is time to let go, to let her find the true love that she seeks. I know, it is back to "How to get a Girlfriend" but it was all in good fun, and you gained some valuable experience and feedback right?

I know of people who take 3 days to get over a breakup, but I also know of people who take 3 months! I do not think I know any who take 3 years, but perhaps this might be possible for some girls who really cannot get over their ex-boyfriend. Time is the best healer and only time can heal your wounds. Do not think about her all the time. Its time to start living!

By the way, most people would advise against sex with your ex-girlfriend, and I think this makes sense. It will only makes things worse! I know men can be obsessed with sex. It is only wrong that your ex-girlfriend does not mind meeting you and even having sex with you. It is all so wrong and complicates matters a lot. And if you are thinking of drowning your sorrows in alcohol, I would not advise that too. Bad things can happen when you are drunk and down, its not something that I would do or advise you to do.

One last point to make. The forest has more than one tree. The ocean has more than one fish. If she is not the one, there are many many other girls to choose from. If you have already managed to get a girlfriend before, what so difficult getting another one? Perhaps you do not even need to read my tips on how to get a girlfriend blog anymore! Start meeting new people! There are many dating sites out there, and as I mentioned before, in future posts, I would be talking about dating sites. With the invention of the internet, it is so easy to get to know new people now! And dating sites have migrated onto the internet, most of them are free. Of course, you can always join a dating service locally to get to know somebody who lives nearby. Or if you are interested in long distance romance, internet dating sites would be perfect! And with the invention of instant messaging, and VOIP which is voice over internet protocal, it has never been easier to keep in touch with a girlfriend somewhere far away!
